• [ALPS 10KΩ Potentiometer] – The OEM trim pot resistor is made by ALPS. It fits ALPS analog joysticks. This trimming pot meter works with PS3, PS4 DualShock 4 (PlayStation 4, Slim and Pro), Xbox One, One S|X), Elite Series 1 and 2 and the latest Xbox Series S|X. It is also compatible with Nintendo Switch Pro and some third-party controllers like ‘Scuf’ and ‘Razer Raiju Ultimate’ with 10K ohm ALPS thumbstick module inside
• [Compatibility] – ALPS sensors come in two different resistance values. Please make sure the value is about 10K ohms before ordering. Never judge the value based on the color. (Please note: choose a 2.1KΩ version for PS5 DualSense and some rare PS4 controllers. The ALPS version is not interchangeable with the orange version of FU.)
• [Extra Resistance] – Complicated movement mechanism and daily wear and tear eventually caused drifting. Even new sensors cannot be 100% balanced. We packed 10x correction resistors to solve the potential problem at the hardware level. Solder one or two parallel small resistors on the potentiometer in the opposite direction against drifts. It helps to correct drift from 3 to 5 degrees
• [For most joystick problem] – The 3Pin trimmer potentiometer sensor needs to be replaced when the controller has the problem of creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone or wouldn’t center after years of wear and tear. De-soldering the unit with only 3 prongs will be much more easier than replacing the 14Pin joystick assembly
• [10K ohm Rheostats] – The trim pot resistor is OEM repair parts – the same model as the one in your controller. The genuine replacement component is to ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan. It will fit the wireless controllers below: PS3; PS4 DualShock4 series (PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro); Xbox One series (Xbox One, One S, One X and Elite); Nintendo Switch Pro controller
• [Replacement Reminder] – Use pliers to separate the problem sensor from the joystick module. Try replacing the wiper first, see if it works. Solder the sensor from the circuit board. A metal pick helps to clear the holes. Soldering the new unit is a breeze. Do not forget to calibrate the new control sticks in the settings
• [Reminder of Replacement] – Make sure you have basic soldering skills and some de-soldering supplies like an electronics solder iron and small gauge solder. Use a pair of pliers to separate the problem sensor off the thumbstick component. A metal pick helps to clear the holes in the PCB. Re-soldering the new unit in is a breeze. Just remember to use flux and keep the iron’s tip well tinned
